Role:                                                              Maternity Cover Cleaner

Contract duration:                                          6-9 months (temporary)

Salary:                                                           £12.71 an hour 

Location:                                                       158 Perth Rd, Dundee, DD1 4JS

Hours of Work:                                              15 hours a week. Ideally 5-8 am 5 days a week

         

Hours flexible to the candidate where their availability still meets the building's functions and needs

                                                       

Please note that this is intended to be a temporary, fixed-term position, covering a colleague on maternity leave. 

 

Key areas of Responsibility

Cleaner duties and responsibilities:

These duties include but are not limited to:

•            Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work area including living/working areas, the church’s main auditorium, entryways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closets

•            Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)

•            Sometimes soaking or deep cleaning mops and other cleaning supplies

•            Keeping cleaning supply cupboard tidy

•            Maintaining cleaning products and communicating to the admin team about ordering new supplies when necessary

•            Taking out the garbage

•            Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks

•            Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning

•            Communicating with admin team any maintenance issues or ways to make the cleaning process more efficient.
