Gate Church Carbon Saving Project presents - A Plastic Ocean.

Come along and join us in watching this captivating and award-winning film by Craig Leeson - "An epic global adventure following a filmmaker and a world record free-diver as they travel the earth discovering the shocking impact plastic is having on our oceans and the marine animals that live there."

The screening will be held in the Coffee Bar downstairs, it is easiest to access from the side door on Greenfield Place.

Tickets are free but we will ask for a small donation on the door, if you can. Drinks and snacks will also be available, for a very reasonable price. All funds raised by ticket fees, drinks and snacks, will be used to pay for the screening license fee, helping the Plastic Oceans Foundation to continue their vital work. Plastic Oceans Foundation is a global charitable organisation that aims to change the worlds’ attitude to plastic in a single generation. The organisation aims to limit the demand for non-essential plastic, using the Ocean as a litmus test to monitor the impact of this man-made pollution crisis on human health.
