"Great is Your Mercy" Donnie McClurkin

I love the simplicity of the words in this song repeated over and over, declaring God's faithfulness, His provision, His mercy, His loving kindness and His grace. Sometimes powerful worship can simply be the declaration of powerful truths.

I recently taught another of my calligraphy classes and often when I do demonstrations, my hand can shake with nervousness - an awful thing when you are writing calligraphy! I have been thinking a lot about how I can worship God through everything I do. So I prayed before I arrived at the class and asked Him to receive my teaching that night as an act of worship. When I sat down to demonstrate some strokes, I meditated on God's faithfulness and His promise to me that He will never leave me. As I worshipped Him with my thoughts, my hand was steady and my calligraphy was beautiful. But not only that, I truly felt God's joy, right there and then as I had a class full of students watching my every move.

"What comes into our minds when we think about God Is the most important thing about us" A.W. Tozer (The Knowledge Of The Holy)

Take your opportunities today to give worship to God in everything you do. Take simple truths of who God is from the word and declare them back to Him as you work, drive, walk, write, think or type.

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
